Cultured-pearl jewellery sets
A pairing, already put together
- For an anniversary, choose a coordinated set they would enjoy wearing beyond the occasion.
- Matching pieces take the guesswork out of coordinating a necklace and earrings.
- The recipient can wear the pairing together or use the pieces separately.
Before you buy
- Confirm every included piece and its fastenings; actual cultured pearls differ from imitation or shell beads.
- Count the supplied items: three pieces can mean a necklace and two individual earrings.
- Match the necklace length, earrings and any bracelet clasp to what they wear.
- A set can leave pieces unused if the recipient prefers mixing their jewellery.
Pearl strand necklace
Colour and rhythm, all the way around
- A cultured-pearl strand follows the modern twelfth-anniversary theme in a necklace they can wear.
- A complete strand adds texture and colour without needing a separate pendant.
Before you buy
- Choose genuine cultured pearls when the material matters; imitation and shell beads are different.
- Pearls need gentle care and separate storage; avoid perfume, steam and ultrasonic cleaning.
- Compare wearable length, bead diameter, weight and the ease of the clasp.
- Loose craft beads and bulk party necklaces are different purchases from a finished jewellery gift.
Silk pyjama set
Matching nightwear for their kind of evening
- A genuine silk set turns the traditional twelfth-year material into nightwear they can use.
- A matching top and bottoms make everyday nightwear feel like a considered gift.
Before you buy
- Silk-feel satin may be polyester; verify the actual silk composition and included pieces.
- Use the size chart for both pieces and leave room for their preferred relaxed fit.
- Fabric warmth and washing needs vary; a delicate set may not suit their laundry routine.
Silk tie
A finishing touch that belongs in their wardrobe
- An explicitly silk tie gives the traditional twelfth-anniversary material a place in a familiar outfit.
- Adds a new pattern or texture to outfits they already enjoy wearing.
Before you buy
- Confirm the silk content and cleaning instructions rather than relying on “silky” wording.
- Match the blade width and length to a tie they use, allowing for their usual knot.
- It is a gift for someone who wears ties; a striking design will not create the habit.
Silk pillowcase
A small change to their favourite place to land
- A silk pillowcase brings the traditional twelfth-year theme into an everyday bedtime routine.
- Refreshes the feel of an everyday pillow without buying a whole bedding set.
Before you buy
- Read the silk composition: satin describes a weave and can be made from polyester.
- Compare the actual pillow and cover dimensions, closure and pack quantity.
- A pillow is usually not included, and delicate fabrics may need separate washing.
Cultured-pearl rings
A small piece with a very personal fit
- A ring can celebrate an anniversary without an engagement promise; make the intended meaning clear.
- Can mark a milestone in a style the recipient already enjoys wearing.
Before you buy
- Confirm ring size and a stated cultured pearl; pearls can scratch and need protection during hands-on tasks.
- Use the seller’s sizing chart or a jeweller’s measurement for the intended finger.
- Resizing and returns can be limited for engraved, made-to-order or eternity designs.
Cultured-pearl pendant necklace
A shape they love, on a chain they’ll wear
- A cultured-pearl pendant follows the modern twelfth-year theme without requiring a complete strand.
- A necklace connected to a shared memory can mark an anniversary without an overtly romantic design.
- Offers a small design detail on a necklace chosen around their own way of dressing.
Before you buy
- Establish that the chain or cord comes with it, and read its length, fastening and material.
- Use a necklace they like as a guide to where the pendant should sit and how large it should be.
- A pendant alone needs a suitable chain; initials or symbolic designs can miss the mark if their meaning is not shared.
Cultured-pearl bracelet
A familiar wrist, a detail chosen for them
- A cultured-pearl bracelet gives the modern twelfth-year theme a place on the wrist.
- A wanted bracelet can keep an anniversary memory close on an ordinary day.
- Gives them a ready-to-wear detail to enjoy with familiar clothes.
Before you buy
- Use a comfortable existing bracelet to judge chain length, bangle dimensions and opening.
- Read how the closure works, how many bracelets are supplied and whether charms are part of the contents.
- Adjustable designs still have fit limits, and some small catches are difficult to close without help.
Cultured-pearl brooches
A familiar coat, a new little flourish
- A wanted brooch can hold an anniversary memory in something they enjoy wearing.
- Gives a familiar lapel or scarf a decorative detail chosen around the wearer’s taste.
Before you buy
- Choose actual cultured pearls and a pin weight suited to the fabric; shell-only or imitation decorations are different.
- Read the measurements and weight, then choose for cloth that can carry the piece comfortably.
- Check the pin-back mechanism and whether they can close its catch securely.
- Pinholes and snags may rule out delicate garments or a recipient who dislikes fastening jewellery through cloth.
Cultured-pearl earrings
A little detail, chosen with their style in mind
- Cultured-pearl earrings follow the modern twelfth-year theme in a pair chosen for their usual style.
- Earrings in their own style can carry an anniversary memory into an ordinary day.
- Adds a small wearing detail that can reflect a style you already know they enjoy.
Before you buy
- Choose for an existing piercing, with dimensions and a fastening they find comfortable.
- Count the actual earrings supplied and check the materials of the body, post and back.
- Opened pierced-ear jewellery may be difficult to exchange, and a hypoallergenic label is not an individual comfort guarantee.
Silk sleep mask
A patch of shade for a brighter room
- A silk sleep mask is a compact twelfth-year gift for someone who likes wearing one.
- For an anniversary, choose a sleep mask only when the recipient would enjoy wearing it.
- Creates some shade around the eyes when they want to rest in a bright setting.
Before you buy
- For a silk anniversary, choose real silk fabric and check the selected variant, filling and care instructions.
- Compare strap adjustment, eye clearance, side buckles and cleaning instructions.
- Light blocking varies with fit; the mask neither blocks noise nor guarantees sleep.
Flax linen bedding set
A fresh set for the bed they already love
- Flax-linen bedding gives the traditional twelfth-year material a role in a familiar bedroom.
- For an anniversary, choose bedding they would welcome in a fabric and set of measurements that suit their bed.
- Gives their usual bedding a considered refresh, with pieces chosen for their routine.
Before you buy
- For a linen anniversary, choose the flax linen option and check the exact variant; generic bed linen can use other fibres.
- Compare actual mattress depth, duvet size and pillow measurements rather than relying on a bed-size name.
- Establish whether the set supplies sheets, a duvet cover, pillowcases or a combination.
- Read the fibre and care labels; texture and washing requirements matter alongside appearance.
- The category name does not promise flax linen, a filled duvet, pillows or every item pictured.
Silk scarf
A familiar favourite or a well-chosen splash of colour
- An actual silk scarf follows the twelfth-year tradition without needing a fitted garment.
- An anniversary scarf is most personal when the pattern and shape suit the recipient’s existing clothes.
- A personal accessory chosen to work with their favourite clothes.
Before you buy
- Choose actual silk for a silk anniversary, checking the selected variant rather than treating satin as a fibre.
- Choose warmth or a lighter drape according to how they wear scarves.
- Compare actual length, width, fringe and bulk around a coat collar.
- Read fibre percentages and the care label; cashmere-feel isn't cashmere content.
- A texture that looks soft may not suit them; check gift returns and familiar fabrics.
Flax linen napkin set
A fresh look for their table
- A flax-linen table set follows the twelfth-year tradition with pieces chosen for the table they use.
- An anniversary table-linen gift suits someone who enjoys laying the table and would welcome the chosen pieces.
- Gives them reusable table textiles to complement the dishes and settings they enjoy.
Before you buy
- For a linen anniversary, choose pure flax linen napkins, checking the exact material and the number of places supplied.
- Check the exact contents and number of complete settings; napkin sets and runner bundles supply different things.
- Measure the table and preferred overhang, and read the fibre label and washing instructions.
- Table linen is not a guarantee of flax fabric or protection for hot pans; accessory counts can overstate the number of settings.
Flax linen apron
Made for their time in the kitchen
- A flax-linen apron turns the traditional twelfth-year material into something a willing cook can wear.
- For an anniversary, choose an apron for someone who enjoys their cooking or baking and would welcome it.
- A well-fitting apron can be useful throughout their normal kitchen routine.
Before you buy
- Check garment measurements, coverage and neck or waist adjustment for the wearer.
- Compare material and washing directions with their preferred care routine.
- A heavy or stiff fabric may feel cumbersome for someone who prefers a lighter apron.
Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug Set
A little pair for the tea tray
- A matching pair gives milk and sugar a useful place beside the cups.
- Adds to familiar cups without replacing a whole tea or coffee service.
Before you buy
- Establish the jug capacity and whether the lid, spoon and tray are included.
- Look at handle clearance, pouring shape and care instructions for every part.
- The pair may have little use for someone who takes drinks without milk or sugar.
Serving Platter
A place for something worth sharing
- Gives shared food a generous surface for serving directly at the table.
- One useful platter can join dishes they already own without replacing the set.
Before you buy
- Compare the usable food area, rim and storage dimensions, not just the overall length.
- Read whether the price covers one platter or a pack of smaller dishes.
- A serving platter is not automatically oven-safe; use the exact maker’s instructions.
Dinner Set
Everyday dishes, chosen as a set
- Matching plates and bowls can make a wanted refresh feel complete.
- Useful place settings bring a shared meal together without a full formal service.
Before you buy
- Read the piece breakdown: twelve pieces may serve four people, with no mugs or serving dishes.
- Compare plate diameter and stacked height with their cupboards and dishwasher.
- A full set may be unwelcome when they already have dishes they love.
Water Jug
An everyday pour, chosen for their table
- A jug they would welcome can mark an anniversary through everyday meals or shared hosting.
- Lets them serve water and other permitted drinks from one useful vessel at the table.
Before you buy
- Compare filled weight, handle clearance, capacity and the space available for storage.
- Check the exact product’s food-contact, temperature and cleaning instructions; crystal is not automatically lead-free or dishwasher-safe.
Paperweight
A little weight behind a thoughtful desk gift
- A small desk object chosen for their taste can make a personal anniversary present.
- Keeps loose papers together while adding a chosen object to their working space.
Before you buy
- Compare the footprint, weight and smooth underside; a decorative sphere may need a stand.
- Clear curved glass can concentrate sunlight; follow placement guidance and keep it out of direct sun.
Tie Clip
A finishing detail with a useful job
- A tie clip they would enjoy wearing can mark an anniversary through an everyday detail.
- Holds a necktie against the shirt while adding a small finishing detail.
- A plain bar can work with a tie they enjoy without replacing the garment.
Before you buy
- Compare bar length with tie width and confirm the clip can hold the tie and shirt placket together.
- Match the fastening’s opening to the thickness and texture of the tie.
- Confirm the exact clip, finish and piece count; cufflinks alone are a different gift.
- Tie tacks pierce fabric and tie chains attach differently; engraving can limit an exchange.
Anklet
A small detail, worn their way
- An anklet in a familiar style can make an anniversary gift without choosing a ring size.
- Gives someone who likes ankle jewellery a small detail to wear with their own outfits.
- A simple chain can stand alone without a matching set or added charms.
Before you buy
- Use the seller’s ankle-fitting method and compare chain length with the extension range.
- Consider movement, socks and shoes, including where a loose extension or charm would sit.
- Read plating, base metal and care for the exact version rather than relying on waterproof wording.
- An ordinary wrist bracelet may not fit, and an ankle clasp can be difficult to reach.
Chain Necklace
A necklace made by its links
- A chain chosen around their own style can mark an anniversary without a compulsory symbol.
- The chain’s links form a complete necklace without needing a pendant.
- A familiar link style can sit naturally with jewellery and clothes they already choose.
Before you buy
- Compare the full wearing length, link width and weight with a comfortable necklace.
- Read the chain, fastening and base-metal details for the exact finish.
- Choose a complete necklace with a clasp; loose craft chain is a different purchase.
- Small fastenings and fine or hollow links may need more care in everyday use.
Barbecue Tool Set
Useful kit for the next barbecue
- Keeps useful turning and serving tools together for someone who enjoys a barbecue.
Before you buy
- Compare reach, grip, actual steel working parts, storage and washing requirements.
- The barbecue, fuel, food and heat-resistant gloves are normally separate; repeated small extras can inflate a set.
Hip Flask
Something small for a familiar favourite
- A small reusable flask suits an adult who would enjoy carrying an occasional favourite spirit.
Before you buy
- Compare actual body material, capacity, opening and cap; a wrap or silver colour is not proof of steel.
- Use the maker’s guidance for suitable drinks, emptying, rinsing and drying.
- Usually supplied empty, it is neither long-term storage nor a general-purpose drinks bottle.
Lunch Box
Make the packed lunch easier to carry
- Keeps an ordinary packed meal together in a reusable food container.
Before you buy
- Compare usable sections, clips and overall dimensions with their lunch and usual bag.
- Read the exact lid seal, reheating and dishwasher directions, including removable parts.
- A lunch box is not automatically insulated; ordinary steel boxes are unsuitable for a microwave.
Stainless-Steel Frying Pan
Give the browning a pan of its own
- An uncoated steel surface suits browning food and making a sauce in the same pan.
Before you buy
- Read the cooking-surface description, hob compatibility and separate oven limits for the handle and lid.
- Plain steel needs suitable heat and fat; it will not release food like a non-stick coating.
Picnic Basket Set
A little less packing before lunch outdoors
- An anniversary set can suggest a meal somewhere they enjoy while leaving the date for them to choose.
- Brings eating equipment and carrying space together for a meal outdoors.
Before you buy
- Check the supplied place settings, usable food compartment and weight when packed.
- Look for secure tableware fittings and removable parts that can be cleaned and dried.
- Food, drinks, cool packs and a blanket may be separate; a lined hamper is not a refrigerator.
Plant Pot
A new setting for a favourite plant
- An attractive container for a plant they already enjoy, chosen to suit their room.
Before you buy
- Compare the internal width and depth with the nursery pot and leave room to take it out.
- Check drainage holes, the supplied saucer and any precautions needed to protect the surface beneath it.
- A decorative pot does not automatically include a plant, compost or a separate nursery pot.
Copper Mug Set
A little copper at the next toast
- A copper mug set offers a distinctive way to serve familiar cold drinks.
Before you buy
- Choose a suitable intact lining for citrus cocktails and other acidic drinks; avoid bare copper contact.
- Compare mug count, capacity, actual materials and care rather than the gift-box piece count.
- Copper-coloured coatings alone do not establish the anniversary material.
Desk Accessory Set
A desk that feels put together
- Matching desk accessories give familiar stationery and small essentials a more considered home.
Before you buy
- Match the actual included pieces and their footprint to the desk they use.
- A large piece count can include individual refills rather than extra accessories.
Sweets Gift Box
A box full of the sweets they pick first
- A sweet anniversary gesture for someone who would enjoy the actual contents.
- A ready-to-give assortment lets them enjoy several familiar sweets without keeping another object.
Before you buy
- Choose the actual flavours and textures they like, not just a large piece count.
- Check allergens, gelatine and dietary labels on the exact assortment.
- Read the edible net weight, sealing and best-before information before comparing gift boxes.
- Attractive packaging does not establish what is inside or whether delivery conditions suit the contents.
Metal Sculpture
A little character for a favourite shelf
- A figure or abstract form can acknowledge an anniversary without needing names or dates.
- A small freestanding ornament can give a favourite shelf a personal focal point.
Before you buy
- Choose a subject and pose they would enjoy displaying, rather than assuming a couple or family grouping fits.
- Check height, base depth, weight and protective pads against the intended shelf.
- A metallic finish on resin does not make it a metal sculpture.
Trivet
A small stand with a place at the table
- A wanted serving piece can mark an anniversary with something they use at the table.
- Gives hot serving dishes a resting place without adding another large piece of cookware.
Before you buy
- Match its supported area and stable feet to the base and weight of their dish.
- Heat limits and surface protection vary; follow the trivet and table care instructions.
Trinket Dish
A little landing place for everyday treasures
- An anniversary gesture that does not require guessing a jewellery size.
- Gives a few everyday small items a visible place on a bedside table or dressing table.
Before you buy
- Match the footprint, raised edge and base to the surface where it will sit.
- An open hard dish will not protect delicate jewellery like a soft-lined box.
Biscuit Storage Tin
A proper home for the next batch
- A reusable anniversary tin can hold a note or a treat, then stay useful for refills.
- A reusable home for homemade biscuits or a favourite bought treat.
Before you buy
- This is an empty storage tin; biscuits and any liners are separate.
- A snug lid does not guarantee an airtight seal or a particular shelf life.
Tea Caddy
A small home for their favourite leaves
- An anniversary caddy can become part of a tea ritual they already enjoy.
- Gives a regular loose-leaf tea a dedicated home beside the kettle.
Before you buy
- Compare usable capacity and the lid’s fit; a decorative caddy is not automatically airtight.
- Keep tea dry and away from strong smells, sunlight and stove heat.
Whisky Glass Set
A good glass for the way they enjoy a drink
- A matched pair makes a familiar drink feel considered without needing a large barware collection.
Before you buy
- Choose a wide rocks tumbler for ice or a smaller tulip shape for tasting; capacity and rim shape matter.
- Confirm the wash instructions and inspect for chips or transit damage before giving the set.
- A glass set is not the same as a drinks gift: alcohol is normally bought separately.
Winter Gloves
A softer finish to cold mornings
- A comfortable pair makes their usual cold-weather clothing easier to enjoy.
Before you buy
- Use the maker’s hand-size chart; fingers and knuckles need room to bend comfortably.
- Read the lining composition and cuff length, especially if they dislike bulky gloves.
- Touchscreen operation and waterproofing depend on the exact pair, not the winter-glove label.
Handbag
Their everyday essentials, carried their way
- A bag chosen around their usual belongings and carry style can earn its place every day.
- An adjustable crossbody strap offers a hands-free carry option when its length suits them.
Before you buy
- Compare the dimensions, empty weight and strap drop with a bag they already use.
- A surprise shape or finish is harder to judge than a requested upgrade; keep return terms in mind.
Belt
A familiar outfit, with a better finishing touch
- A well-chosen belt becomes part of the clothes they already enjoy wearing.
Before you buy
- Use a belt they wear as a size guide, then follow the seller’s chart for that fastening.
- Match strap width and buckle style to their usual trousers and belt loops.
- Trimming or adding initials can restrict an exchange, so settle the fit first.
Fresh Fruit Basket
Good fruit in an amount they can enjoy
- A fresh fruit assortment gives them something to enjoy without adding a permanent possession.
Before you buy
- Compare the named fruits and quantity rather than judging the gift by the basket's apparent size.
- Choose a delivery date when someone can receive, unpack and store perishable contents.
- Fruit has a limited eating window, so an oversized basket may be wasteful for a small household.
- Mixed hampers can add nuts, cheese, chocolate or alcohol; read the complete contents and dietary information.
Fresh Flower Bouquet
Fresh colour for a day worth marking
- Fresh flowers bring a temporary change of colour to a familiar room and a clear sense of occasion.
Before you buy
- Compare stem count and bouquet size, and read whether the flowers arrive arranged or in bud.
- Confirm the exact delivery date and postcode coverage, plus whether a vase comes with the bouquet.
- Cut flowers are perishable and need someone available to unpack, arrange and care for them.
- Consider fragrance sensitivities and any pets or young children in the recipient's home.
Bath Towel Set
An everyday comfort, chosen around them
- Wanted towels can make a useful anniversary present for one person or a shared home without everything needing to match.
- A suitable set adds a familiar daily comfort in a texture and colour they enjoy.
Before you buy
- Count the bath towels separately; hand towels and face cloths can make up most of the advertised pieces.
- Choose a lighter or denser feel with their available hanging and drying space in mind.
- Large, dense towels take up room and may be slow to dry between uses.
- For a cotton anniversary present, read the actual fibre composition and laundering directions.
Tea Towel Set
Useful cloths with a pattern they will enjoy
- Wanted tea towels can make an anniversary present that fits an ordinary shared or personal routine.
- A coordinated set brings a little pattern to the kitchen through something useful.
Before you buy
- For a cotton anniversary, look for verified cotton content rather than a linen-like weave or fabric brand name.
- Compare the dimensions and number of full-size tea towels rather than the pack's total pieces.
- Cotton, linen and microfibre behave differently, so read the actual fibre content and care instructions.
- A decorative print does not establish absorbency, and new towels may need washing before use.
Letter-Writing Set
A good excuse to put something lovely in the post
- A letter tucked into the box can mark an anniversary without using up the paper they will want to write on.
- A coordinated set makes a handwritten letter feel like a small occasion.
Before you buy
- Look for separate totals for sheets and envelopes; stickers and seals often count towards the advertised pieces.
- Match lined or plain paper and the writing space to the letters they enjoy sending.
- Stamps, ink and a pen are usually separate purchases, even when they appear in the photographs.
Cufflinks
A pair that belongs with their favourite shirt
- A wanted pair can become a small wearable reminder of an anniversary.
- Gives a shirt made for cufflinks a finishing detail chosen for the wearer.
Before you buy
- Establish that their cuffs accept cufflinks, and that the actual contents include two.
- The face size, post and fastening should suit their shirt and be comfortable for them to handle.
- A button cuff may not work, and elaborate fixed backs can be awkward to fasten.
Watch
A familiar glance, a watch chosen for them
- A wanted everyday watch can mark an anniversary without following a metal tradition.
- Offers a glance at the time in an accessory that can become part of their usual outfit.
Before you buy
- For anniversary themes based on a metal, read the case and bracelet construction rather than relying on a silver or gold colour.
- Use a comfortable watch they own as a guide to case size, thickness and wrist fit.
- Read the power instructions: replaceable batteries, solar charging and mechanical winding need different routines.
- Someone who does not enjoy wearing a watch may prefer a different gift, however many functions it has.
Choose the material around the person
The traditional themes for a twelfth wedding anniversary are linen and silk; pearl is the modern alternative. A gift can follow the material quite quietly, through a piece they use at home or something they enjoy wearing. The best starting point is a known preference, rather than the biggest object that fits the tradition.
Silk: a small comfort or something to wear
A silk pillowcase can bring the material into an everyday routine without a whole new bedding set. Check the cover’s actual dimensions, fastening and pack quantity. A silk sleep mask is smaller still, but only a good choice for someone who likes wearing a mask; a soft fabric cannot fix an uncomfortable strap.
For a wearable gift, compare a silk scarf with a silk tie. The scarf’s shape changes how it can be worn, while a tie needs the right width and length for familiar outfits. A silk pyjama set is a bigger commitment on both fit and care: establish the size of the top and bottoms rather than guessing from a usual clothing label.
Silk is a fibre; satin describes a weave. A smooth polyester satin item can be a perfectly deliberate gift, but “silky” or “silk feel” does not establish actual silk for a material-led anniversary choice. Momme describes silk fabric weight, not a promise of better sleep or healthier hair.
Linen that belongs in their home
Flax-linen napkins offer a useful table gift without the sizing commitment of a tablecloth. Choose a suitable number of places and a colour that works with the recipient’s plates. Linen’s creased texture can be part of its appeal; not everyone wants another item to iron.
For a larger home gift, flax-linen bedding needs exact bed measurements and a clear contents list. A sheet set, duvet-cover set and mixed bundle can contain quite different pieces. Settle which one is actually wanted before choosing the colour.
A flax-linen apron takes the same material into the kitchen. Choose it for someone who enjoys cooking and wants an apron, with comfortable straps and enough coverage. A practical anniversary gift should feel like a wanted addition, rather than a new job.
Read the composition when the tradition matters. “Bed linen” and “table linen” are broad household categories and can include cotton or synthetic fabrics. Look for actual flax linen, then decide whether the washing instructions and creased finish suit the recipient.
Pearls: studs, a pendant or a full strand
A pair of cultured-pearl earrings can follow the modern theme without a large jewellery purchase. Start with the recipient’s piercing and usual fastening, then read the post and back materials. For someone who prefers a necklace, a cultured-pearl pendant with a chain gives the pearl a single focal point.
A pearl strand necklace has a different presence from a small pendant. Compare bead size, wearable length and a clasp they can manage. A cultured-pearl bracelet needs its own wrist measurement and fastening check. Choose the piece they would reach for, rather than treating a full strand as the inevitable upgrade.
Cultured pearls are genuine pearls grown in a mollusc with human help. Imitation pearls, shell-coated beads and mother-of-pearl pieces are different materials. Read the description of the actual option, including the setting or clasp metal; a pale bead and a convincing photograph do not settle the question.
A thoughtful choice at a comfortable price
A mask, tie or napkin set can mark the material without committing to silk nightwear, a full bedding set or a pearl strand. The type of gift matters more than buying the most expensive version. If the themed choice stretches the budget, a wanted general anniversary gift and a personal note can be more thoughtful than an uncomfortable purchase.
For a couple, shared household pieces work best when both would welcome them. For one person, a scarf, necklace or familiar bedtime accessory may feel more personal. Neither the anniversary nor the material tells you who the gift is for.
Make the care part easy
Keep the exact fabric and washing labels with textile gifts. For pearls, avoid perfume and household chemicals, wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewellery. Steam and ultrasonic cleaning are unsuitable for pearls. A small care note and the seller’s instructions help preserve the gift without adding a chore list.
Leave clothing labels attached until the fit is known, and read exchange terms before adding initials or engraving. A separate card can explain the anniversary connection while leaving a gift easy to exchange.
