Sticker Activity Book: A pocket of pictures, a scene to fill
From choosing animals for a scene to matching shapes, a sticker activity book gives the stickers a purpose. Match its subject and level of fiddliness to the child, with a mini format for a smaller present.

Find out what happens on the page
Some books invite the child to invent a scene; others ask them to match outlines or complete numbered pictures. Check an inside page before choosing. A blank sticker album is for collecting, whereas an activity book comes with something to do with its supplied pictures.
A favourite subject helps it get opened
A child who loves buses may be keener on a vehicle scene than an elaborate book on an unfamiliar theme. Consider the level of reading and how easily the stickers lift from the sheet. Small pieces and precise positions can turn an independent activity into one that needs help.
Check whether repositioning is part of the design. Reusable stickers need the intended page surface. Ordinary adhesive stickers can tear when moved, so a book should not be promised as reusable on the strength of its appearance.
Mini books make a different little gift
A compact booklet can be handy on a train or in a Christmas stocking. Look at its complete packaged dimensions and the size of the individual stickers, not only the page count. A bulk party pack may be less useful than one book in a theme the child will enjoy.
Keep the product’s age and use guidance with the present. Cute artwork does not make every small sticker suitable for the youngest children.
