Trick-or-Treat Bag: Their own bag for the Halloween outing
A reusable trick-or-treat bag gives them somewhere to collect treats. Choose a manageable size, comfortable handles and a design they will enjoy carrying, rather than the biggest possible haul.

A collecting bag, not a pack of party wrappers
Look for a carried fabric or canvas bag if this is the present you have in mind. Search results also include small paper sacks, cellophane wrappers and classroom multipacks. Those can package favors, but they are not the same gift as a childโs own reusable Halloween tote.
A pumpkin, ghost or favorite character can be enough to make the bag feel personal. You do not need to fill it with candy for the bag to be useful; decide separately whether any treats suit the child and their household.
Imagine it being carried
Compare the bagโs height, opening and handles with the person using it. A very large bag may be awkward when full, while long handles may drag. Sturdy seams, a shape they can open easily and a practical way to carry it matter more than an impressive capacity claim.
For a child, choose with their grown-up and follow the exact age and use guidance. Drawstrings and decorative attachments bring different considerations from short handles. A printed or glow-in-the-dark design should not be relied on as visibility equipment.
Decide whether lights add anything useful
A plain washable bag is simple to put away for next year. Light-up bags may need batteries, with the usual secure-compartment and care requirements. Read how the exact bag can be cleaned; printed fabric, felt and electrical details do not all tolerate the same treatment.
Give it ahead of the outing
This is a small seasonal present to hand over before the planned Halloween activity. A bag alone does not arrange the outing or replace adult supervision. Agree the plan with the household and choose the size and design around it, including whether they want something they can reuse next October.
